Hey all, we have set up streaming again on a new server that may also end up being our new automation server. Note, that this is still in testing and wont be completely stable until after the new year. Don't be surprised if there are not short connection issues every now and again till the end of the year.

The schedule reflects the paper work we have in front of us, which is to say it may or may not be correct. Send an email to
rfu-schedule@ucimc.org if you notice a problem.

If you wish to have the genre, website or description of the show entered, send an email to rfu-schedule@ucimc.org with the show name and the info you want cut and pasted into the fields. The system has no preset genres.

If you wish to have links to your names as DJs, you need to click on 'login or register' on the right, then create yourself an account. After you have created the account, send an email to rfu-schedule@ucimc.org and we'll connect the two.

Lots of new functionality (some of which is still being worked on) has been added.

-Upgraded to the newest Drupal 4.7 version

-Changed the theme

-Added the Staion Module
--This won't be completely functional till streaming is back

-Changed the Show Proposal form to use Drupal's Form API
--This will ensure compatability if we have to upgrade Drupal and/or it's database.

-Added the Listen section
--This will also not be completely functional till streaming is back.

-Added the web based IRC page (chat)

It's hard to believe it, but WRFU is growing up...and we thought the best way to celebrate would be punch, pie, and reminiscing about the 80's via saucy dance beats.  Please join us at the Independent Media Center for a night of fun:

On Friday, August 4, 2006, WRFU will broadcast LIVE from One World Pizza AGAIN. We will be prominently positioned on Green St in the lobby of this business again allowing anyone and everyone an opportunity to get on the radio.

On Friday July 28 and Saturday July 29 WRFU performed its first remote broadcast out in the community. Friday's broadcast started at 10pm at One World Pizza on Green St between 5th and 6th St in Campustown. Ray Morales of "The Show" (Fri 10-12pm) and Aaron Pollack of "Back in the Day" (Sat 2-4pm) hosted the broadcast.

On Saturday July 29 WRFU broadcast the "exodus" or goodbye party for Lynsee Melchi (More Fire!, Mon 11pm-1am), at 808 California in Urbana. The evening included a Live Performance by Kilborn Alley Blues Band and DJ Limbs.
